The Jaloliddin Manguberdi train
Uzbekistan Railways officially launched the Jaloliddin Manguberdi high-speed train between Tashkent and Khiva. This was reported by the company’s press service.
On the morning of May 5, a launch ceremony for this service was held at the Tashkent-Central (North) railway station. It was attended by Hikmatulla Rakhmetov, First Deputy Head of Uzbekistan Railways, the Ambassador of South Korea to Uzbekistan, Won Do-Yeon, as well as a delegation from the manufacturer Hyundai Rotem.
Trains will operate according to the following schedule:
- Departure from Tashkent — 7:00, arrival in Khiva — 14:31 (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday);
- Departure from Khiva — 7:20, arrival in Tashkent — 14:51 (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday).
